M&O's Charlice Hurst's article, "The 'Not Here' Syndrome: Racism denial, workplace inequity, and the futility of speaking out," was published in the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Charlice discusses issues surrounding organizational racism, including the difficulty of acknowledgement and the ineffectiveness of training programs. 


The Observer covered a lecture about disinformation in China by Freedom House research director Sarah Cook. The lecture was part of Mendoza College of Business' Ten Years Hence webinar series that began in 2002 to explore issues and ideas that were likely to affect the world over the next decade.


Marketing's Mitch Olsen was quoted in a South Bend Tribune story about the effect of enhanced unemployment benefits on the job market.


Congratulations to Finance's Jason Reed, whose teams of ND students swept the 2021 Fiscal Policy Challenge, winning first and second places, and tying for third! The winning team included Mendoza and Arts & Letters students Josie Donlon, Michael Flegel, Emma Gran, Bridget Stockrahm and Stephen Vukovits. Jason and economics assistant professor Forrest Spence served as faculty advisers. This is the fourth national championship in five years for Jason and Forrest.
