Emeritus professor of Marketing John F. Sherry Jr. was named as the 2021 Fellow in Consumer Behavior by the Association for Consumer Research (ACR). The fellowship is the highest honor granted by ACR in recognition of an individual’s scholarly contribution to consumer behavior research over his or her career.


Dean Martijn Cremers spoke to over 100 undergraduate students enrolled in Jessica McManus Warnell’s MGTO 20700 Introduction to Business Ethics course on Sept. 14 after students read his Mendoza Business Magazine article “Faith, Finance & Flourishing“ for class. The students told Jessica how much they appreciated hearing the Dean’s perspective that business can and should contribute to human flourishing, and his remarks on the role of faith in revealing the intrinsic dignity in every person, including business stakeholders. Students were also grateful he took the time to answer questions they generated ahead of time, on topics from the integration of finance and the common good to his advice for finding work that matters.
