Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns recently selected its 2020 spring semester Community Impact Grant recipients. Career Services' Patrick Farran was awarded $4,000 for “Heartful: Exploring the transformational impact of community storytelling through theatre” as a mechanism for enhancing prisoner reentry efforts, community integration, and changing the hearts and minds of others.
Kudos
Congratulations to Pete Pietraszewski (BBA '92), our Mahaffey Business Services Librarian, who has been named the 2020 recipient of the Rev. Paul J. Foik, C.S.C., Award! The Foik Award is given annually to a library faculty member who has contributed significantly to library service to the Notre Dame community or to the library profession through personal scholarship or involvement in professional associations. Pete was noted for being instrumental in working with students and faculty regarding their specific research needs, her tireless efforts to acquire research resources and for being "a joy to work with and an invaluable colleague."
