Jim Leady, associate director for undergraduate education, was honored for his military service during the Notre Dame hockey game against Bowling Green on Nov. 29 as part of the team's Fighting Irish Salute.

The recognition was well-timed —  Jim officially retired from the U.S. Army on Dec. 1 after serving for more than 20 years in the Army and Army Reserve.

Mendoza's redesigned website received a silver award in the 14th annual W3 Awards.
