Accountancy's Jessica Watkins presented her study "The Timeliness and Detail Tradeoff in the Mandatory Disclosure of Material Events" to the office of SEC Commissioner Robert Jackson. Commissioner Jackson informed Jessica that her study was influential in the drafting of the 8-K Trading Gap Act passed by a strong bipartisan margin of 384-7 in the House of Representatives on January 13, 2020.

Thank you to Mendoza IT's David Yeh and the Office of Information Technologies staff for working diligently with SONA Systems technicians to set single sign-on for the SONA research participation system operated by the Mendoza Behavioral Lab. Students can now use their campus NetID and password to create an account and log in, which improves the efficiency of lab operations.
