Workplace reminders to keep us all safe!

1) When staff are working in their cubicles that have walls at least 54” high, must they still wear masks?
Response from University: If people are in the same room as someone else on campus they must wear a mask per the "HERE" campaign. This includes cubicles. Unless they are in a private office or personal residence hall room, they must wear masks. If they are the only person in the room, they can remove the mask until someone else comes in.

2) Can receptionists be mask-free until someone arrives in the suite?
University Response: The receptionist can be mask-free until someone enters the space with them, then they need to put on the mask. Ideally, since the particles can stay in the air for a very long period of time, everyone should wear a mask anytime they are in the building outside of a private office.

Back to school!

The new academic year got underway Friday as MSF and MSBA students started their on-campus classes. The Exec Ed team was ready, with health checks, face masks and social distancing as part of the "new normal." Great job, team!

Take a Seat

Updated classroom seating charts and the AV upgrade status of each room can be found on the Mendoza Exchange website. The charts are a great resource for understanding room capacities and seating arrangements. Thanks to the Mendoza IT and facilities teams who have been hard at work for months to get the College ready for the new academic year!

College Research Recognition

Mendoza was recently recognized as one of nine "Pioneering Institutions" globally by Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM), an organization dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and supporting credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines.

The Pioneering Institutions are RRBM institutional partners who have publicly committed to RRBM and are actively engaging in RRBM-consistent actions, which includes integrating their research mission with the the Seven Principles of Responsible Research. Mendoza earned the designation specifically for the Office of the Dean Mission Awards that honor one or more faculty members in each of the academic departments for a published piece of research that contributes to the common good.
